Hi, my name is Chanda Jones. I'm a photographer who loves to explore life through the lens of a camera. I discovered my passion for photography by simply taking a photo 101 class as during a summer break while I was studying Psychology at Penn State University. That was four years ago and I have never looked back…

Photography has been a natural fit for me. Having studied psychology, obtained a degree in business and having owned several successful barbershops for over 20 years, I find that I often have a unique perspective when viewing the world through my camera.

I became a professional photographer my first semester in photography school. I express the excitement of seeing my first photograph printed in the News Paper. I knew that I had found my passion! Not ever being the type of person to limit myself to any particular field of photography, I have enjoyed producing a variety of photographic work, both still and motion. I discovered that I am most passionate about photographing architecture and headshots. My mission is to produce meaningful images. Be it through photography or documentary filmmaking. As a freelance photographer, it is a true blessing that for the last 8 years I have been a Lead Team Photographer for the Philadelphia Phillies. I love every minute that I'm capturing memories and moments.

I have studied Business Administration at ECPI School of Technology, Psychology at Penn State University, and Photography and Video Production at Community College of Philadelphia. While at CCP, I've earned reputation in the Digital Imaging Department as someone zealous and passionate about life as a photographer. Being able to document people's lives through my images is a responsibility that I take very seriously. I am currently pursuing my BA degree in Photography at Southern New Hampshire University. Upon completion, I will continue on to obtain my Masters degree in photography.

I have been a proud member of American Society of Media Photographers as well as a freelance photographer for Philadelphia Daily News and Philadelphia Inquirer. In addition, winning The PhilaFilm Festival – Documentary Category in 2013, for my documentary project that focused on the history of the Philadelphia Black Fire Fighters Association, Valiants Inc.
